Wellness Weekend

If you have ever wanted to try mineral pools, contrast therapy, Infrared Saunas or to experiment with cold plunge or cryotherapy in a private and supportive setting with like-minded women join me for an exclusive retreat for two days in October. 

 

This is a two-day version of the one-day events that I have previously run. We meditate in a rainforest, we learn a variety of deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques in a private Himalayan Salt Room, learn a walking meditation, mindset techniques and introduce self-care techniques. 

 

Saturday: 

We will enjoy breakfast at the Langham and a 3-course lunch at Blowfish Broadbeach, then we have a private wellness center booking after hours at Rigs Recovery Centre.

We learn about the benefits of contrast therapy, heated mineral spas, cold plunge and the benefits of Infrared Saunas before our group booking at Rigs Recovery. If you want to incorporate these practices into your routine, this is an ideal way to see if they work for you.  

Catered food will be provided at Rigs Recovery. Relax in heated mineral pools, and Infrared Saunas, the bold can experiment with cold plunge techniques and cryotherapy should they wish to. 

On Saturday morning we will learn a technique to escape for a few precious minutes during the day to recalibrate with a "Walking Meditation" (weather permitting) on the beach. Ideal for busy women this can be a wonderful way to take back your day or to employ as quick destress technique. You can use this technique anywhere it is safe to walk in a meditative state, it is ideal to use in tandem with beach, forest, park and rainforest walks. Meditate on whatever you wish to meditate on with this technique.

We will then go to a Himalayan Salt Room a short distance away, to learn multiple deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques before enjoying a three-course meal at Blowfish. 

After lunch join me in a conference room to learn relaxation techniques and to reset your mindset before leaving to start Rigs Recovery at 4:30 pm.

This is a wonderful and relaxing way to spend a day, guests will learn new anti-stress techniques, and experience deep relaxation.

Enjoy a buffet Breakfast at The Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove.

We then travel a short distance away to the rainforest to enjoy a Private Rainforest Social Spa-Ing Experience. Here we practice our rainforest meditation, guests can book a massage for $99 in advance and we enjoy a large steam room, mineral pool and grazing platter. 

Afternoon

We have private access behind the gates at Australia's exclusive Sanctuary Cove Golf Club on the Pines Golf Course Sunday afternoon. We start with lunch before a goal-setting meditation. 

This is a deep relaxation retreat featuring meditation practices that are based on science. Learn about the benefits of meditation and how to incorporate anti-stress techniques into your weekly self-care routine. 

Each guest is given a set of meditations and recordings to practice at home. 

After this retreat it will be easier to incorporate new meditation, relaxation, and anti-stress techniques into routine. This will also help you to unstick a stuck mindset and it will help you to set, visualize and to achieve new goals.

Meditation reduces cortisol, adrenaline, stress, and anxiety. Meditation allows the brain and mind to rest and to reset, it takes participants out of their normal waking state, “Beta state”, into Alpha and Theta state.

These are guided meditations in which we fine-tune our visualization skills so that we see the world anew, create new mindsets and neural pathways, and adopt habits that will help us focus on achieving our goals.

If you have too much on your mind, need a mental break, have difficulty sleeping or try to do too much learn how to achieve a state of mental and emotional rest.

Kimberley is a certified meditation instructor and is trained in safety and what the healthy parameters are for meditation. 

She specializes in created guided meditations in which you learn to create your ideal place, your goals and uses guided imagery to help you to focus and to increase positivity and resilience.  

We do not practice an “empty mind” techniques, we practice guided meditations that are written with the freedom to create what you consider to be your ideal.
